This cake is wonderful! The texture of the custard is smooth. The chocolate cake is moist. And the caramel topping brings it all together. I’m not sure exactly where it ranks, but it’s definitely in the top 10 of the cakes I’ve made.
It was fun to bake, too. The chocolate cake batter starts off in the middle, but by the time it’s done baking, it’s on the top! And since there aren’t that many ingredients that go into it, I foresee this recipe being used again!
